Common questions

Tap a question to see the answer.

Do I need an account?

No. You confirm your mobile number with an SMS code when you book. There's no password to remember.

What can I sell?

Paper and cardboard, plastic bottles and containers, metal, glass and old electronics. Not sure? Take a photo and the estimate will tell you.

How is my money worked out?

The weight of each material times the kabadiwala's price per kg. Their price can never be below the minimum Luma.Green sets.

How do I get paid?

At your door, in cash or UPI, before the kabadiwala leaves. Luma.Green records the payment but never holds your money.

What are recycle points?

A thank-you for recycling: 1 point for every ₹10 you're paid. What you can use them for is coming soon.

What if the weight looks wrong?

Ask them to weigh it again in front of you, starting from zero. Still not right? Call us: the receipt shows every weight.

Can I cancel?

Yes, for free, until the kabadiwala is on the way. Open your tracking link and tap Cancel.

Are kabadiwalas checked?

Yes. Our team checks every shop before it can take bookings. Look for the verified badge.

I didn't get the SMS code

Wait 30 seconds and tap Resend. Check the number is right and your phone has signal. A code works for 5 minutes.

Who sees my number and address?

Only the kabadiwala who accepts your pickup, and our team. We keep them for 12 months after your last booking.

What happens to my photos?

Do not include faces, documents, or number plates. The photo is sent to an AI provider for this estimate. Luma.Green does not save it.

Can I see or delete my data?

Yes. Write to us from Contact and we'll do it within 30 days. We keep only what the law needs, such as receipts.
